Welcome to Andrea Barnett Vintage!

Coming to you "live" from our studio in Dallas, TX, where all of our jewelry is handmade...I would like to welcome you to the first incarnation of our retail site, "Andrea Barnett Vintage", wherein you will find "classic" items from our line of jewelry, fabulous prizes, cooking secrets of the stars, 51 things you didn't know you could do with Fig Newtons and much, much more...except those last three things, which are totally not in here or anywhere else on the site...but YAY JEWELRY!

Sorry...got a little worked up there, folks.

So, what does "classic" exactly entail?  Well, several things...first, many of the pieces are from the very early days of the line...so early in fact that they are actually bona fide "vintage".  That's when you know you've been in business for a minute...

Most of these vintage pieces are in very limited quantity, and in many cases, the one shown is the only one we have.  Frankly, we haven't even finished going through the "stash", as it were, to determine exactly how many of some items we have, but rest assured, it isn't a lot.  But it IS enough to offer a solid array of items directly to the public, and so here we are!

Another reason something might be on this site is that we simply cannot make it anymore.  We use a lot of vintage chains and other hard to find components, so when we run out of those materials, it's over.  Fat lady has sung.  That piece is "no mas".  And yet, since we have two display showrooms, we necessarily have TWO samples of every piece.  When a piece is especially popular and we know we will run out of the components, we sell the samples as well, but sometimes that doesn't happen.  Until now we hadn't thought much about selling them because, frankly, we have always been too busy to set up a site like this.

However, being under quarantine for 8 weeks actually allowed for the time required to do something like this.  And let's face it, this pandemic has flat-out changed the way people are going to be shopping for the foreseeable future, so it made sense for us to try to establish another arm of the business that could hopefully pick up the slack until things settle into whatever our "new normal" is going to be.  Not knowing what that will be, this seemed like a prudent idea.

Plus, you can shop online without having to wear a mask!  I mean...I guess you could wear one...you know...if you're into that and all...okay, this is getting a little weird...let's move on.

So that is the "why" of the website's genesis.  The "how" has involved much cussing, so you probably don't want to hear about that.  The "when" is now...duh, and the "who" is...yeah, I feel like you get where I'm going with this...

There will be more blog posts very soon, describing our jewelry and how it is made, how Andrea got into this business in the first place, how best to care for a piece you purchase and a comprehensive list of what NOT to do with it, as well as funny anecdotes about this crazy business, some of them even true.

So thank you again for visiting our site and I sincerely hope you find something you realize you just can't live without...but if you don't, check back often, as we will be adding more pieces regularly!   Thank you immensely for reading this screed.  You will discover I am quite wordy, so let me go ahead and apologize for that in advance.

Happy shopping and stay safe out there, kids!

  • Congrats! This is beautiful. I love the jewelry. Love Hunter’s “Mind space” and can’t wait to read more of his blog posts. These designs are vintage heirlooms; it just might be time to grab one of my favorites before it is gone gone gone…I have been window shopping for years!
