Our Story
Andrea Barnett began her career as an interior designer, spending 15 years at the helm of her own business. While dealing with antique furniture and architecture, she discovered a passion for vintage jewelry and fashion. On several trips abroad she collected Victorian lockets, charms, , sporting medals and decorative chains and began designing necklaces which incorporated those pieces. Her hobby became her second career in 1988 when she began replicating some of those antiques to develop a vintage inspired jewelry and belt line, highlighted by large Sterling silver pieces and freshwater pearls. The current incarnation of her line is dominated by patron saint medals cast from antique originals and paired with vintage chain, freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones. The multi-layer versions of these necklaces have proven to be excellent sellers, as Andrea has done all the difficult work of achieving the popular “layered look” for the customer.
